The photo was taken on a nice & sunny Fall afternoon during a day hike to the Elfin lakes. When the trail emerges on a ridge, you can get a splendid view of Brohm ridge and Garibaldi mountain peaks to your left. A circular polarizer was used to adjust the color of the sky.
