From either the Alouette or Gold Creek campgrounds, you can take the beach access trails to the West shore of Alouette lake to find the campers' beach area. Walking north along the shore for 5 minutes takes you to a rocky beach that gives you a lovely view of the sunset against Mt. Crickmer.
