What a great day of hiking. We spotted a group of 13 mountain goats on the ridge pictured here. We only noticed them because of the mini-rock slides they kept causing and after a long search with the binoculars found them almost at the top. The size of the ridge is deceiving, it's much larger than it appears in this photo. This field was beautiful but dangerously riddled with marmot holes which you could not see until you almost stepped into them.
