Brandywine Meadows (kind Of)

After getting distracted by a grand waterfall and completely missing the trailhead marker for Brandywine Meadows, my hiking partner and I walked up an old logging road for two hours wondering how long it would be before we found the trail we were looking for. Some intrepid explorers we are! We found the trailhead on our way back down, but in the meantime, we'd gotten to some pretty nice places up the logging road. At places where these little creeks and falls crossed the road, workers had arranged old wood pallettes to use as bridge material. Here, some of them are making an escape to the wildflower-laden valley below.
