After some serious route-finding and scrambling up to the first in a series of three peaks (all named after Lord of the Rings characters - which we found to be very fitting), we sat on the ridge and watched the rain fall over the valley below. All-in-all one of my favourite hikes despite the many obstacles and challenges we faced out there!
