This year, there will be different dates that the Day-Use Passes will be required depending on which park you plan to visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BC Provincial Parks that will require the Day Use Pass are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Garibaldi Park &#8211; Diamondhead and Rubble Creek Trailheads:<\/strong> June 13 &#8211; October 13, 2025 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Holidays. These hiking trails include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vancouvertrails.com\/trails\/elfin-lakes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Elfin Lakes<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vancouvertrails.com\/trails\/garibaldi-lake\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Garibaldi Lake<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vancouvertrails.com\/trails\/panorama-ridge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Panorama Ridge<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vancouvertrails.com\/trails\/black-tusk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Black Tusk<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Garibaldi Park &#8211; Cheakamus Lake Trailhead:<\/strong> April 25 &#8211; September 1, 2025 daily. From September 2, 2025 &#8211; October 13, 2025, a day-use pass is required on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Holidays. These hiking trails include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vancouvertrails.com\/trails\/cheakamus-lake\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Cheakamus Lake<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vancouvertrails.com\/trails\/helm-lake\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Helm Lake<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Golden Ears Park<\/strong>: May 16 &#8211; September 1, 2025, a day-use pass is required on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Holidays. This includes all hiking trails in Golden Ears Provincial Park.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Joffre Lakes<\/strong> &#8211; May 17, 2025 daily through the summer hiking season. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vancouvertrails.com\/trails\/joffre-lakes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Joffre Lakes<\/a> is closed from April 25 &#8211; May 16, 2025.<strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Day Use Pass can only be reserved starting at <strong>7:00am 2 Days Before your Planned Hike<\/strong> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/reserve.bcparks.ca\/dayuse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">BC Parks&#8217; website<\/a>. The Day Use Pass is Free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors to these BC Parks will have to have a printed copy or downloaded copy of their Day Use Pass on their mobile device when they visit these parks.
