Road to Lynn Headwaters Regional Park is Closed

As of December 1, 2016, the narrow road connecting Lynn Valley Road to the parking lot area in Lynn Headwaters Regional Park is closed to vehicle access due to the risk of a landslide. Metro Vancouver staff are assessing the area and the stability of the ground underneath the road and there is currently no timeline as to when the road may re-open.

Hikers will need to park along residential streets outside of the park and plan to walk into Lynn Headwaters Regional Park, adding an extra 1-2km to their trip. The road is still accessible by foot or by bike.

If you plan to use Lynn Headwaters, please plan ahead and make sure to leave yourself extra time to ensure you exit the park before darkness.
