Grouse Grind Opens
The Grouse Grind will open at 6:15am, Wednesday, May 2nd for the start of the 2018 summer season. Hikers should expect some snow near the upper portions of the trail but will be able to hike to the top of Grouse Mountain and take the Skyride Gondola back down. The trail will be open until 6:00pm daily but the closing times will change throughout the summer as day-light hours become longer and again, when the day-light hours shorten.

Garibaldi Campsite Reservations Required
Campsite reservations are now required during the peak summer season from June 29th – September 30th at the Garibaldi Lake campsite, Taylor Meadows campsite, and Elfin Lakes campsite. The popularity of these back-country campsites has made it a requirement that campers must pre-book their spots with BC Parks online or by phone by calling 1-800-689-9025. The Elfin Lakes hut must be reserved year-round.
