2023 BC Parks Camping Reservations
Reservations for BC Parks campsites open earlier for the 2023 season than they traditionally have in previous years. Starting on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 7am PST, campers can make reservations for BC Parks sites for up to 4-months in advance. Previously, reservations were only allowed to be made for up to 2-months in advance but BC Parks is moving to a 4-month rolling system beginning January 3rd.
For example, on January 3, 2023, you will be able to book a BC Parks reservable campsite arrival for May 3, 2023. On January 4, 2023, you will be able to book a BC Parks reservable campsite arrival for May 4, 2023, and so on.
Some other notes for the 2023 camping season:
- Added to the BC Parks Reservation system for 2023 are Allison Lake Park near Princeton, Gwillim Lake Park near Chetwynd, and Yahk Park near the Kingsgate border crossing.
- Reservations for the Bowron Lakes Canoe Circuit opened on December 1, 2022.
- The Kinney Lake Campground (7km from the parking lot) will be the only campground along the Berg Lake Trail to open for 2023. The rest of the trail remains damaged.
