Camping at Joffre Lakes

View Joffre Lakes Trail Description

The campsite at Joffre Lakes is located at the far end of Upper Joffre Lakes below the glacier and along the lake. There are 24 camping spaces which are available on a first come, first serve basis. There are pit toilets located at the parking lot and the campsite area.

There are currently no fees for camping at Joffre Lake, however check with BC Parks for any changes to this.

The trail to Upper Joffre Lakes can be quite steep in sections and campers should be in excellent physical condition and able to hike in all the required camping equipment and supplies.

Campers can further explore Joffre Lakes by climbing up towards the glacier.
