Forest Fire on Sumas Mountain UPDATED
Date: August 13, 2008The forest fire on Sumas Mountain has been brought under control thanks to quick work by firefighters, five water bombers, and favourable weather conditions. The fire burned to within a kilometer of houses in the town of Abbotsford, however no damage or injuries were reported. Please use caution when hiking on the trails in the area.
